At the core of the space is a fully equipped, L-shaped infinity wall studio (12m wide × 6m deep), complemented by modular kitchen sets, rollable wall flats for customised setups, chroma key capability, editing suites, and hot desks for agencies, visiting crews, and freelancers. Whether you’re a local creative, global brand, or international production team STEL is your creative home in the Cape Winelands. At the heart of the space is a custom-built L-shaped infinity wall (12m wide × 6m deep × 4.5m high), supported by a steel load-bearing truss system — cleverly designed for fast rigging and minimal reliance on C-stands. A pre-rigged Nanlite PavoSlim 240 RGB grid offers fully app-controlled lighting, with additional Nanlite fixtures and shaping tools available across key zones, enabling precise DMX control to suit any creative brief.

• Full VT Solutions with 3 viewing monitors already set up to plug and play through the DJI Transmission system

Post Production Facility
Take your project from concept to completion under one roof. Our Post Production Facility is equipped with broadcast-ready fibre internet, a high-performance editing workstation with an 85-inch Viewing Monitor, and equipped with state-of-the-art audio monitors—a comfortable, creative environment designed for focus.
Whether you’re refining photos, cutting video, or finalising content for delivery, STEL provides the tools and space to streamline your workflow. Pair your studio shoot with on-site post production to save time, stay in the zone, and keep your creative process seamless from start to finish.

We are located on the Blaauwklippen Road in Stellenbosch. Conveniently, we are 10mins from Stellenbosch Centre, 20mins from Cape Town International Airport and 45mins from Cape Town City Centre.
There is a Woolworths foodstop 3mins from us.

We’ve simplified our booking system to offer full-day hire only. This allows for smoother scheduling across our productions and gives you uninterrupted access.
Please ensure all setup and pack down is completed within your booking time as overtime fees will apply automatically.
Parking
We have 6 dedicated on-site car parks with additional parking available on request. Please let us know if any additional arrangements need to be made.
Important Information
Please note: STEL is not a soundproof facility. While the studio is located in a generally quiet area, we cannot guarantee complete noise control. We have, however, taken care to acoustically treat the space to reduce potential interfering noise as much as possible.
We kindly ask that you keep noise levels low when outside the studio, as other businesses operate on the farm.
If you intend to bring children or pets, please get in touch before your booking to arrange this. Our studio is not a child-friendly environment due to extensive gear and props and is only available upon request.
